We instantly became fans of LA based New York producer Kingdom when he dropped his first release back in 2011 on Night Slugs. Since then we’ve waited paitently for more output from the American and found new material to be few and far between so were immensely excited to listen to the new ‘Vertical XL’ EP when it dropped earlier this week.

Led by the highly stylized vocal laden ‘Bankhead’ featuring Kelela the new 7 track work has already became one of our favorite EPs of 2013 and is now available to be streamed in full via Kingdoms soundcloud page. Released via his own Fade To Mind label which he heads alongside friend and fellow music producer Nguzunguzu the new EP touches on the more credible end of R&B whilst retaining a retro analogue edge and haunting melodies.

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
