The Spotlight Series at Big Chill Bar This Saturday

We’re back with our next Spotlight Series Party this Sunday 25th September at the Big Chill Bar on Brick Lane, London.

The party series born out of our extremely popular Friday Spotlight Mix Series, where we feature some of the best up and coming talent from around the globe.

This week we welcome Cowlin, Richey Profond and Zach Murray and of course our residents Archie B and Ben Sterling.  London based Cowlin, he entered into the electronic underground music scene by playing in local venues in his local town of Reading before moving to the capital.

West Midlands based DJ/Producer Richey Profond had a passion for electronic music from a young age. Owning his own set of turntables at 13 it was here where his love for electronic music grew. Richey would spend many weekends in Birmingham’s record stores digging for vinyl, this is where his vast musical taste came to life.

He may only be 19, but Essex-boy Zach Murray is more than ready to show off his skills under the DT Spotlight. After wowing the crowds at the Last Spotlight party we have invited him back for a second time, we met Zach coming out of an ABODE party where challenged him to deliver us an amazing mix and below is what he came up with..

Ben Sterling is a young talent who is rising fast, at just 19, he’s already beginning to make some waves as a Deep & Tech House DJ and has performed at some of the top venues such as; Ministry Of Sound.

UK DJ and producer and Data Transmission’s superstar resident and bootleg king Archie B, finishes the bill. Discovering a love for DJing at the age of 14, Archie B began spinning with jungle and Drum & Bass. DJing for 18 years, and now having moved on to 2 step garage and house, Archie B is fast becoming a well-known face and name within the London and surrounding areas House Music scene.

It’s FREE entry all day/night and starts at 6pm so come down and check out some more great DJ’s from our Spotlight Mix Series.

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
