Archie B arrives as the first release on Data Transmission Records with ‘Rio’

Oxford-based talent Archie B arrives as the first release on the brand NEW Data Transmission Record Label with his summer sizzler ‘Rio’, continuing a standout 2022 for the artist.

Archie B’s style of music production is hard to set into one genre. With a combination of UK Garage, House and bass he is setting his own trend with his own style of music. The lovable gent of house music has been gaining fans across the industry and among his peers. His recent release on James Hype’s Stereohype label did serious damage in the Beatport charts along with solid releases on Toolroom Records, Wh0 Worx and Marylebone Records – Archie is becoming a force to be reckoned with in the house music scene.

Since I started producing 7 years ago now data transmission have supported me & my music from day 1 so it only felt right for me to be the first artist to release on their new label. When I started making Rio over 4 years ago now with various different styles but it was only in lockdown that I revisited the track and re connected with it to make it a more summer vibes with a carnival feel, This is where the name Rio came from as it’s takes me to the crazy carnival vibes in Rio de janerio Brazil. I am very excited to be part of this new journey with data transmission and the Label!

‘Rio’ is set to burst into the house music scene with a hook that you will be singing all summer! This certified groover comes rustling with a thumping beat and rolling four-four groove, ‘Rio’ instantly transports us to the dance floor for your hands in the air.

The release becomes the debut release for Dance Music Authority Data Transmission, which has built its 14-year reputation on supporting artists and labels across the scene, in 2022 they bring their own full imprint to the table with some strong house music including big hooks, moments and the occasional thumper!

‘Rio’ like the city brings the party to launch the label, the carnival feel is blended expertly throughout the track and makes you want to get on the floor!

You can listen to it in full here and grab it here on Beatport.
