Spotlight Mix: Chris Thomas

Chris Thomas is a young, up and coming House, minimal, techno DJ/Producer, born and raised in South-East London.  He’s the founder of underground music event Noise & Girls, an event which focuses on the music he loves supporting artists such as Cera AlbaKalyde (who featured in our Debut Transmission Section), Markel, Jey Kurmis, Jamie Trench, Low Steppa, Cristoph to name but a few.

Founded September 2013, Noise & Girls was the first in Canterbury to introduce the sound of the underground. No frills, no gimmicks; Noise & Girls is all about the music and the atmosphere it creates.  It above all was setup to bring quality DJs who provide authentic music to a group of like-minded underground music enthusiasts.   We’ve been impressed with Chris for a while here at Data Transmission so we’ve invited him on to the Spotlight Series today, to show his stuff..

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
