Spartaque & Alan Wools combine for Debut on Set About!


May the 1st sees the CODEX label boss Spartaque to release on Set About! He teams up with Alan Wools on their ‘Saturn’ EP.

More and more the world of dance music is changing every year; it is complemented by new names, new characters, new styles and trends. In this impetuous flow, it is very important for an artist not to lose the guiding line that once was the start of a wonderful DJ’s and sound producer’s life. Precisely this distinguishes Spartaque among many names, and his name has been a matter of respect and admiration for hundreds and thousands of clubbers and other artists for many years.

Arseny Volos – Ukrainian DJ and sound producer, which is representative of a new, but rapidly developing project Alan Wools. At age 14, he graduated from music school, class piano, but the first impulse to write the music appeared in 16 years. After working for five years in the project Dub Makers, Arseny started his solo career under the name Alan Wools.

Another collaboration between Spartaque and Alan Wools this time on Bulgaria’s finest techno imprint Set About. Created partly in Barcelona and Kiev and tested worldwide with the premiere on the main floor of Mayday festival at Katowice, Poland. Two tracks – “Saturn” and “Mars” are real techno stompers for a peak time of any rave followed by remix on “Saturn” track from another brilliant France based artist and producer – [ Wex 10 ].

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
