Share

The folk over at Shanghaied have released volume 2.0 in their brand new series called ‘Intergalactic Smugglers Series’ a monthly series, where they bring new acts in to the label and give them a space to shine, each of the tracks will be a lovely Free Download on their Soundcloud.

First up was Kalyspo, two young producers inspired by seasons in Ibiza and encouraged by the synths that’s drive people crazy. The release today see two new talents in Tom Frankel & Jerome Withers. Born and bred Londoner Tom Frankel is emerging as one of the nu breed of extra talented dance producers breaking out onto the scene. Tom has earned the admiration of his peers and rightly so, he’s a chap with a lively, transfixing personality and his sets are spirited and distinct, marrying a rich medley of current house & tech music with sounds from a bygone era.

Little is know about Jerome Withers right now, he’s super new, so we will just let the music as Shanghaied have done do the talking.

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
