Roxe graces Sonny Fodera’s Solotoko with his ‘Gucci Floor’ EP

Share

Following his impressive release on Solotoko Drops Vol.2 compilation last year, Sonny Fodera welcomes Roxe back to his Solotoko label for stand-alone EP ‘Gucci Floor’.

Hailing from Spain, Jorge Pérez AKA Roxe has been emerging on tastemaker’s radars in recent months including Wade, Miguel Bastida, Gene Farris and of course Sonny Fodera with his signature releases.

With his polished sound turning heads beyond his hometown, he has seen support from DJs advance into official releases on notable labels including Be One Records, Farris Wheel, La Pera, and more.

Building monumental foundations to his career at a rapid pace, Roxe continues his rise with his first release of 2021 on Solotoko, setting him up as a firm one to watch this year. With the EP already anticipating support from the likes of DJ heavyweights including Chris Lake, Riva Starr, SIDEPIECE, Martin Ikin, Claude VonStroke, Green Velvet, Claptone, Dombresky and more, Roxe is already on to a winner.

Kicking off the new year in style, ‘Gucci Floor’ and ‘Danger’ that make up the EP are certified dance weapons. Both drawing on quirky vocal samples and punchy synth stabs, paired with rattling bass and a dose of groove throughout, Roxe is on the road to global appeal.
