Robbie Rivera releases his ‘Cooking Good / Mama’s Groove’ on MTWAT

Robbie Rivera has been in the game since 1995. We remember first hearing of him on a Henry Street Music release in the late 90’s. You know the name, and if you don’t, we wonder what rock you’ve been hiding under.

Since then Robbie Rivera has gone pretty much in the upper echelon of dance music producers and DJs in the US. He’s next up on the superb label ‘My Techno Weighs a Ton‘ with his ‘Cooking Good / Mama’s Groove’ doubleheader.

Robbie’s work includes releases on pretty much all those big dance labels like Spinnin, Nervous, Axtone, Doorn, Dimmak, Ultra Music and his own Juicy Music imprint and he’s remixed people like U2, Lenny Kravitz, Deadmau5, Tiesto, Kaskade, New Order, Erasure, Basement Jaxx and David Guetta.

Both tracks are built to raise the roof with that techy feel. Our premiere is ‘Cooking Good’ a jackin’ thumbers that immediately shakes you to the dancefloor. Crank it up loud!

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
