RIP Mo Chaudry

Some very sad & upsetting news, has just come in that our dear friend Mo Chaudry has passed away.

Mo was a true gentleman. A calm, gentle soul and remarkable father, who was always a delight to be around.  From the out pour of love, respect and sadness on facebook in the last hour, it seem Mo died whilst away from his beloved Ibiza on holiday in Sri Lanka. Unconfirmed reports say that he almost drowned whilst swimming, then had a heart attack and later died in hospital.  We will update once we have more news on this.

We first met Mo whilst he was working at Privilege Ibiza, later he went on to create the Onyx events at Space this summer, which were a hit in the final year of Space.   It’s very upsetting that a true Ibiza pioneer, legend and for a lot of people on the Island – mentor, has departed us so early and the world will be not as rich without Mo Chaudry in it.

He is remained by his two daughters.

RIP Mo.

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
