Rinse announce 20th Anniversary plans

Share

rinse20.jpgSeminal UK music broadcasters Rinse have revealed their 20th anniversary plans, and unsurprisingly they’re pushing this party to the limit. We’ll let them explain:”For our 20th Anniversary we’re taking the opportunity to mark two decades of life at the centre of a vast musical community. Bringing together a busy schedule of parties, special broadcasts, events and exclusive collaborations. As genres, artists and scenes evolve and fragment so Rinse remains locked to the pulse of the underground. Inspiring and nurturing people to create the music that they want to hear, the results speak for themselves.” – RinseTo translate, that means parties at the Notting Hill Carnival, Fabric, Ministry Of Sound, Ibiza Rocks and even the Tate, alongside collaborations with Pharrell’s Billionaire Boys Club, Give Up Art and photographer Shaun Bloodworth. Artist’s from across the Rinse family will feature throughout the celebrations, including Slimzee, Oneman, Marcus Nasty and Lisa Maffia. This really is set to be the best Rinse birthday yet, so check out the full schedule below and get involved!

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
