Rhadoo To Mix Fabric 72

More exciting news from Fabric this week with the London institution revealing that Romanian minimal specialist Rhadoo will be helming the latest installment in their acclaimed fabric series.

Whilst remaining a name that has avoided being chewed up by the hype machine Radu Bogdan Cilinca has been plying his trade for over a decade and winning plaudits from across the underground. Romania’s electronic music has been undergoing a transformation for the last few years with a series of artists from the country breaking into the wider consciousness of the scene such as labelmates and co-founders Raresh and Petre Inspirescu.

Set to land on October 21st the mix showcases Rhadoo’s stripped back signature sound, the fabric mix seeing the Romanian utilize a host of previously unreleased tracks with the work of many of his fellow countryman such as SIT, Adrian Niculae and Yourayo making appearances whilst Rhadoo himself provides an obligatory exclusive new cut to round off the release

Speaking on the release Rhadoo said “I recorded the mix at home in Bucharest. Most of the tracks are unreleased from friends. I’ve wanted to do a mix like this for ages and thought about it doing in on my label, but the mix for fabric was the perfect opportunity. I wanted to present these artists to more people as they are not very well known but really talented.”   Sounds good to us Radu!
