Nile Rodgers Joins Forces With Chase & Status

The good news just keeps on coming for fans of Nile Rodgers. After the disco legend sensationally revealed that further collaborations between him and Daft Punk were in the pipeline after he came across some of his older work in the Warner archives and that the duo had selected another Rodgers co-produced track in ‘Lose Yourself To Dance’ as their next single the veteran musician could be forgiven for taking out some time for himself outside of the studio.

However, keeping up his current momentum Nile has also revealed details of a long known about collaboration with EDM superstar DJ Avicii and has now tweeted a photo of himself in the studio with Chase & Status working on new material with the drum and bass gurus. Nile first revealed the collaboration with the duo at this years IMS and we’re sure he’ll be introducing his funk laden styling’s to Chase & Status already pop leading sensibilities.  So as we decide to compile a short list on people that Nile isn’t working with these days check out the photo of him composing new material below. We can’t wait to hear it.

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
