Mount Kimbie, Maribou State, George Fitzgerald announced for new Lisbon festival, Nova Batida

Nova Batida is a brand new city festival for Lisbon, Portugal across 14-16 September, 2018.

It blends together the freshest music, art, culture and lifestyle from all corners of the world in one of the most exciting creative hubs.  Soundcrash, promoters of some of the finest London events plus creators of Soundwave, Paradise Island and Funk & Soul Weekender festivals have gone out to create something really unique and special.

Nova Batida will be spread across two venues in Lisbon, the LX Factory and Village Underground Lisboa. A sprawling converted factory with courtyards, out buildings, even avenues and warehouses has been turned into LX Factory, one of the most significant creative hubs in Europe with roof terraces, bars, fashion outlets and much more. In its maiden year, they are combining some of the best international talent including Mount Kimbie, Maribou State, Gilles Peterson, George Fitzgerald, electronic music genius Max Cooper and Stones Throw’s beat making maestro Mndsgn plus amazing new talent Anchorsong, Connie Constance, Lefto, Rita Maia, Owiny Sigoma Sound System, DJ Marfox, and many more TBA.

There are surf classes you can sign up for, if that’s not your bag then there yoga classes, or you can just kick back with a craft beer and watch the street artists transform the whole of Village Underground over the weekend.
