Moog Reveals Mother-32 Semi-Modular Synth

Analogue synth powerhouse, Moog, has released its first ever “small-format” semi-modular model, the Mother-32.

Built for easy integration into a Eurorack set up (and designed to be simple for new users), the Mother-32 lands just as modular synthesis is seeing a huge rise in interest. Features include a voltage controlled 32-step sequencer with 64 sequence locations, lowpass and highpass ladder filters, two voltage-controlled mixers, a dual output oscillator, wide-range LFO, MIDI to CV conversion, a 32-point analogue patchbay and an assignable CV jack.

The Mother-32 is shipping now with a U.S. street price of around $599 (£394). Check out the video below to see Interdimensional Transmissions affiliate, Erika, Ghostly‘s Max Ravitz and Bana Haffar – who were all involved in the prototype testing phase – show off the Mother-32’s capabilities.
