Mix Of The Day: Deeper Purpose – Exclusive Deep Intentions Mix

As you might have gathered after reading our in depth reviews of their last two releases that read more like a full scale enquiry than your atypical review we’re quite the fans of Harmless Records. Now following on from the quite frankly amazing releases that were ‘Traxbox’ and ‘Terry Farley Presents Acid Rain’, Harmless return for 2014 to present ‘Deep Intentions’, which switches the focus from classics to the current resurgence in house music’s popularity, and the new tracks now referred to as deep house.

2013 saw the Deep Intentions nights at the forefront of the next generation of the London house scene, building popularity and routinely selling out some of the biggest venues in the capital. Thus considering this was a compilation born off of the back of a night it made sense to have it compiled by Deep Intentions resident DJ Deeper Purpose to showcase the sound of the event over the past 6 months.

Now to celebrate the release we have similarly nabbed Deeper Purposes talents behind the wheels of steel to deliver today mix of the day to get you in the mood for the weekend.

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
