Mix of the Day: Chris Wood & Meat (Sonus Festival Mix)

Since 2004 Chris Woods proceeds as successful producer and remixer with numerous releases and remixes under his hand. Releasing on labels like Moon Harbour, Pressure Traxx, Souvenir, Upon You, Below, Freebase Records, Kindisch, MurMur or be_chosen.

2009 Chris started working with his friend Meat (Carsten Schuchmann) and since then they’ve had releases on different labels and they DJ together at clubs all around the world.

 There last EPs where played by big names like Sven Väth Ricardo Villalobos, Seth Troxler and many more. From 2012 to 2016 Chris and Meat ran the store Freebase Records & Sneakers together, as well as their label Freebase Records.

After a couple of tracks on various compilations Meat and some remix works he did some collaborations with “Reboot” as the remix project “Lakeof” and with his new studio partner Chris Wood with whom he released 2009 two Ep’s on his own label Below and Kindisch.

Chris Woods & Meat head to Croatia for Sonus Festival’s fourth edition which taking place 21st-25th August 2016.  Sonus 2016 is set to be another sun-soaked marathon stretching across five glorious days and five epic nights on the stunning Zrce Beach, Croatia.

They join up with the Time Warp family Chris Liebing, Loco Dice, Luciano, Marco Carola and Joseph Capriati plus Chilean master of innovation Ricardo Villalobos & Dixon, Seth Troxler, Jackmaster, plus dynamic duo The Martinez Brothers, all set to bring the fire.
