Luke_Solomon.jpgHero of underground house Luke Solomon has announced his debut EP for Let’s Play House, the label run by Jacques Renault.

The ‘Things Wot I Done, Vol. I’ EP features 4 tracks in total, with the A side offering a “sharp, powerful house tune wrapped in a barbed wire knot of chunky synth hooks, loose drums, and looped vocals,” and something “a little more bizarre and wonky… loaded with effects, unexpected twists and turns, and screeches that are plopped in, seemingly at random.” On the flip, Benjamin Damage, of 50Weapons fame, cracks out the hardware to remix Solomon’s “R U Ready?”.With a back catalogue that spans a number of scene-defining labels – including Crosstown Rebels and Playhouse – we’re always keen to see what Solomon will come up with next. So, with a name that suggests there’s more to come from the Brit, this is one EP that’s really got us excited. ‘Things Wot I Done’ is out on vinyl September 22nd and digital on October 6th, the full tracklist is below:A1 “Let the Rhythim”A2 “Wot U Du”B1 “R U Ready? (Benjamin Damage Remix)”B2 “R U Ready?”

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
