2013 fast became the year of the collaboration as a series of the scenes most decorated veterans teamed up for a selection of work on knew projects, our favourites being thus far Zeitgeber (Lucy and Speedy J) and Borderland (Juan Atkins and Moritz Von Oswald) but are now excited to hear that Pat Mahoney and  Run Roc Records’ Dennis McNany have joined forces to form Museum of Love.

With a wealth of cross genre electronic experience between them and a long term friendship spanning over 10 years they have decided to convert their joint passions into a full studio project but it is not the first time Mahoney has worked within a group as the DFA stalwart is also a founding member of LCD soundsystem in addition to being one half of Special Disco Version with James Murphy.

For the new project Run Roc boss McNany will be in charge of the musical arrangements with Mahoney taking over vocal duties with their debut release under the joint moniker a single entitled ‘Down South’ set for release via DFA out on June 18th before a full length album makes its way onto shelves.

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
