After her debut on Johnny Johnny‘s first compilation they knew right away they had to get more of what Janina J had to offer. She returns to the label with her “Mirror Talks’ EP due out on 30th October.

Coming from Dublin in 2017, Janina has rapidly intrigued Manchester’s underground scene with her energetic and original sets full of choppy vocals and a rolling groove, securing a residency with Gruv and Genre Music. Her sets regularly fill dance floors at many of Manchester’s clubs such as South, Joshua Brooks, and Stage & Radio.

Her latest offering for the label ‘Mirror Talks’ EP boasts some of the finest Deep Tech & Dub Minimal House they have heard in an age. Established in early 2017, Johnny Johnny – founded and run by Nico Mendez – is a record label concept that releases digital & vinyl music and hosts showcase nights & events in Glasgow, the UK and around Europe. JJ’s catalogue advocates a brand of house & techno music that goes against the grain.

These tracks keep you going effortlessly without even trying hard. Five absolute groovers showcase well thought out frequencies that advocate how well rounded a producer Janina J really is.  We premiere ‘For ya Gal’ for you on Data Transmission today, check it out here and grab it here.
