Blake Watch! It’s been a busy year for Mercury prize winner James Blake with the last few days providing several entries to what is fast becoming a bulging news folder for the past 12 months. Following on from the announcement of his new single ‘200 Press’ which is set to arrive December 8 via his 1-800-Dinosaur imprint comes reports that another remix from his Harmonimix alias has emerged.

For the uninitiated Harmonimix is Blake’s Hip Hop and R&B remixing moniker in which the ‘Overgrown’ producer applies his own signature to tracks we might not necessarily expect him to with previously reworked material including pop superstar Beyonce’s ‘Drunk In Love’ and Kendrick Lamar’s ‘m.A.A.d City’. It’s A remix of the Gorillaz’ De La Soul featuring ‘Feel Good Inc’ that has surfaced this time, emerging from Rich Reason’s FABRICLIVE x Hit & Run Mix who claimed the remix is “from back in the day.”

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
