After the spectacular implosion that was Bloc 2012 you’d be forgiven for thinking the brand had gone the way of the dodo but far from dwelling on the disaster it seems the team behind Bloc are determined to push forward and return the brand to the once lofty esteem it was held within the electronic music community.  After their facebook page was updated last week with a new logo many speculated that an unlikely return was on the cards before Bloc founders Alex Benson and George Hull revealed that aseries of programs will be starting on May the 9th with Juan Atkins techno pioneers Model 500 kick-starting proceedings. Other weighty names such Surgeon and Marshall Jefferson join their ranks in the coming events for looks like to be a strong run. Good to have you back Bloc!

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
