Ian Jay features ‘Indigenous’ on ‘Rawsome Miami 2018’
The anticipation for festival season is upon us as we start to crawl out of the cold weather and into the heat with ‘RAWSOME MIAMI 2018,’ celebrating the annual Miami Music Week that will influence the forthcoming sounds for the rest of the year.
Offering up four energy filled tracks, Rawsome starts the compilation with the trance-inducing ‘Ayahuasca’ from Pete Dorling, complimented by a nice mix of breakbeat rhythms and a swarm of modulating synths. ‘Hot’ displays Ozzi’s pounding tech-house style, which is without a doubt the more assertive song of the bunch, yet equally matched by the vivacious ‘Move Your Body’ from An-Beat and Daniel Moreno with their massive tom-drum rhythms.
It wouldn’t be Miami if there wasn’t a bit of latin music, and our debut transmission welcomes, Ian Jay, who does just that in his tune ‘Indigenous,’ infusing latin percussions and chant vocals into a lively house groove.
