Here at DT we’re firm believers that every cloud has a silver lining; that’s why, following the sad closure of Solomun, Adriano and Magdalena’s EGO nightclub in Hamburg, we’re pleased to announce Dynamic affiliate H.O.S.H. has taken the reigns with his long term partner Jörg Hill.

Launching on October 2nd (with an event featuring Steve Bug alongside the new owner), Villa Nova aims to create a “fundamental base for the city’s club culture for future years,” building upon the work of those before them. With the pair’s experience running Grünanlage Open Airs festival for over a decade, and a complete model within the venue – including a brand new sound system designed by Föön – Villa Nova is sure to inject new life into the Hamburg club scene.

Several dates have been confirmed already, continuing the sterling booking reputation of EGO. Check them out below alongside H.O.S.H’s  official DT podcast.

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
