Gruuve lands on Beachside Records with ‘Blondie&D’ EP, due out on the 6th May.

The label says “The next stop at Beachside Records is one of the most exciting for our office, we are happy to announce and warmly welcome Tomas Acosta aka Gruuve as a new member of our family of artists, he performs with ‘Blondie&D’ EP.”

GRUUVE is the moniker of the Argentinian artist Tomas Acosta, well known for his unique Deep and Tech House productions in which tribal elements are his famous trademark. He has definitely avoided any connection to cutting corners and as an autodidact, he fought very hard to make a name for himself in the industry, being creative and moving away from generic music.

After 2 years of releasing music on underground labels, in 2014 Deeperfect found him and asked for some tracks.
“Wrong file” was the name of the EP that put GRUUVE on the radar of the big names in the industry. Nowadays he continues releasing music on well respected digital labels such as Lapsus, Muse, Bla Bla, Glasgow Underground, and his own imprint MUUV.

The lead track ‘Blondie&D’ is an explosive track subtle with tribal sounds, hypnotic percussion and full of lilting rhythms, along with it we have 3 beautiful remixes that do nothing but make this release shine with the great talent of our brothers: Milos Pesovic, Bastian Kay and Stiven Escarraga.

We premiere the lead track on Data Transmission, check it out today and grab it here.

A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
