Glasidum releases their ‘Synthis’ EP on Habits feat. Black/Tuesday

Habits Records are pleased to welcome Glasidum to the label with a 6 track EP entitled ‘Synthis’.

Following a successful release on our 2-year compilation, this EP is the perfect follow up for Glasidum as Habits begin to focus in on the sound & direction that has become synonymous with the imprint over the past 2 years. The EP brings a blend of sounds together to offer a hard-hitting minimal soundtrack, which is sure to be popular with DJs & party-goers.

In fashion, music, and life, Black/Tuesday takes incompatible threads and finds ways to weave them together. For individually, these threads are powerless bits and pieces of a finished product. Matthew Reyer and Joe Burchard combine for decades’ worth of experience weaving grooves, sounds and textures together with a focus on energy and movement. Their DJ sets are inspired by extended after-hours sessions, taking crowds on journeys through genres inspired by 90’s house, techno, minimal, breaks, electro and whatever else fits the puzzle. Meeting early in life, these two are no strangers to the ins and outs of each other’s work flow.

They feature in our premiere today, as they remix ‘Synthis’.

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
