Donna Summer producer, Daft Punk collaborator and all round synth legend Giorgio Moroder has announced that after a 30 year gap he is to release a new solo album. Entitled ‘74 is the new 24’ (which we certainly hope is true – it gives us something to look forward to) the long-awaited album already boasts a superstar roster of collaborators with names  such as Britney Spears, Sia, Charli XCX, Kylie Minogue, Mikky Ekko, Foxes, Matthew Koma already scheduled to appear and many more to be announced soon.

Preceding the release of the album comes the new single from which the LP takes its title ’74 is the new 24’ which you can check out courtesy of Vevo below.

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
