We love Frankie Knuckles here at DT. One of the music industry’s truly unique individuals we can’t really thank the house music innovator enough for his contributions towards electronic music. With millions of fans around the world still paying tribute it is a testament to the mark Frankie left on the world that even the worlds most powerful man, the President of the United States was moved by his passing enough to issue a statement to commemorate his life and achievements.
Now the latest tribute to be paid to the House legend is set to arrive in the form of a special Frankie inspired film titled ‘The Warehouse’ which documents his life and the early days of Chicago House. Set to be produced by Bob Teitel, further details are currently think on the ground although the press release states that it will “pay tribute to the life story of The Warehouse owner Robert Williams and the legacy of Knuckles’s timeless artistry.”
R.I.P Frankie. Gone but not forgotten!
