French and Parisian house music has a long and illustrious past with the capital continuing to be a hotbed of electronic music to this day.  One of the pivotal figures in both scenes as an innovator and facilitator is Alan Braxe and the Gallic DJ appears set to continue adding to the rich musical history of Paris for the foreseeable future both as a producer and label boss of his Vulture Music imprint. Long a pillar of the French electronic scene alongside Parisian imprints Kitsuné and Ed Banger, Vulture Music has long set itself apart from the herd by staying true to it’s retro-futurist artistic identity. Renowned for espousing the ‘French Touch’, the quality of the label’s productions have remained loyal to melody and song writing rather than overdriven frequency.

Now to celebrate teaming up with Magic and Medicine for a special joint appearance alongside fellow Parisian veteran DJ Falcon at East London’s Village Underground on November 22nd, Vulture Music’s Alan Braxe has shared a new stream of his imprint’s latest mixtape as curated Alan himself and mixed by Xander Milne.

Tickets for Alan’s performance at Village Underground alongside DJ Falcon and Grum are available by clicking here.

Check out the mixtape below.

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
