Fatboy Slim to Play House of Commons

Now housing parties in the Commons is nothing new but this type is Labour or Tory but something quite different indeed as international veteran DJ Norman Cook, internationally known as Fatboy Slim is set to play the political hubs terrace bar. Supporting him will be the competition winner of the House the House DJ contest set up by former music executive and MP Mike Weatherley to give a platform to talented youngsters.

The gig on March 6th seems to have excited Norman Cook, with him stating “I’ve played some exciting and unique places around the world from Bondi Beach to The Great Wall of China to an igloo but playing in the House of Commons might be the most unique to date,” The MP set up the contest alongside the Last Night A DJ Saved My Life Foundation who aim to get more involved with their communities through grass roots projects.
