Theo Keating, better known by his electronic alter ego of Fake Blood has always been one to do things on his own terms. Building a cult following for his genre hopping productions that are steeped in the history of his own musical tastes the producer has excited fans with news of a fresh three track EP set for release March 10th via Blood Music.

Over the last six years Fake Blood’s musical career has continued to grow and after making huge impact with hits like ‘Mars’ and ‘I Think I Like It’, he then turned his energy to releasing the critically acclaimed debut album ‘Cells’ his star continued to rise and it was no surprise when iconic London nightclub and mix series fabric came calling in search of his services. Now following on from that mix comes new EP ‘Waiting’ to get 2014’s schedule of releases up and running in a typically big, bold and quirky fashion.

Speaking on the release Theo has described the title track as: “A house track to get the shoulders bumping – the drums skip and tune stays slung low to the ground. Tribal percussion from Venus, and plaintive piano chords from another age. ‘I’ve been waiting so long…’ Strange creatures sing in the distance, and the melody of the thick subs sounds like the bass is speaking to you.”

Sounds good to us Theo!

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
