It’s been a pretty good year for French folk-pop duo Lilly Wood. When their track ‘Prayer In C’ caught the attention of German electronic powerhouse Robin Schulz, enough to get him on remix duties, they were on a straight road to stardom.Now that remix, which hit Number 1 across Europe (including in Germany, France and Belgium) is finally set for a UK release! Out August 24th via Atlantic Records, Robin Schulz Remix ‘Prayer In C’ has now attracted others to its cause, and it’s one of those others we have for you today.

One of the top remixers in the UK, Walter Ego, takes the track on a futuristic funk-trip full of chopped vocals and skittering percussion, check it out, exclusively here at Data Transmission:

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
