If we didn’t know better we’d think Dr. Lektroluv was the persona of some secret agent battling supervillain. The mysterious green mask, the indefinite back-story all he needs is a white cat and a frickin’ laser beam and he’d be well on his way to diabolical greatness. But then again maybe we’ve watched too many TV shows.  We don’t know. What we do know is that the good doctor is the man behind the continually impressive Lektroluv Records.

Having established himself a large set of patients in Belgium the doc has gone onto to prescribe his own brand of electronica on a global scale releasing 11 mix CDs and dropping beats on Brazil to India.

Now he brings us “Discothèque”, a rework of Break 3000’s “Emolotion”, an electroclash classic and staple of his DJ sets since its original release. But wait there’s more! We’ve got our hands on a exclusive remix of the remix (how post-modern) from fast rising UK producer Jägerverb who steps up to deliver his own acid enthused take on proceedings. Check it out below.

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
