Small Swiss imprint Electrophil Records is fast becoming one of our favorite independent labels here at Data Transmission as the imprint showcases the works of an eclectic array of producers, filled to the brim with takes on a number of genres, channeling energy from a myriad of different producers whilst ending up very much sounding like its own unique entity.

So today it is our great pleasure at DT to  exclusively showcase their latest release from rising star Dealirium. Following his well received ‘Side Show’ EP, Dealirium is back with a fresh effort entitled ‘Human Traffic’. With a style ranging from the deeper strains of house through to the harder edged side of techno we’ve been watching with great interest as he refines his tracks with  increasingly dark elements whilst maintaining a grooves and combining it all together with hard and driving kick drums, to produce a forward-moving composition. Starting with the technoid track ‘Weaponized’ the EP gets more house influenced as the it progresses whilst ‘Train the Brain’ ventures forth into Tech House terrain before ‘Human Race’ rounds off the EP with deep melodic house vibe complete with captivating vocals. On the remix size label affilaiate Weltenwandler transforms ‘Weaponized’ into a techno club weapon whilst Plo.Berger gives Human Race a groove laden overhaul.

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
