Just Jack specialises in showcasing serious House and Techno in a not-so-serious manner. 8 years of fervent promotion has plotted a remarkable string of parties across a variety of venues in their hometown of Bristol as well as international clubbing meccas, London, Ibiza and Croatia. Progress has snowballed in recent years and the next logical step has been to assimilate the experience of 8 years of record collecting, pushing boundaries and obliterating dance floors to create an erudite label. Stepping in for the inaugural release is Amsterdam based Beesmunt Soundsystem. With previous releases on Soweso Music and a stack of worldwide performances (both live and as DJs), the auspicious pair deliver ‘The Baby Maker’ EP – an opulent blend of course and forceful drums, sultry vocals and resistlessly effective bass grooves all backed up with a moody and spectral revision from Chicago’s Amir Alexander.
