Very exciting news today as here at DT we’ve teamed up with electronic music festival super power the Electric Daisy Carnival to launch a new competition to find the best up-and-coming dance music DJ’s and producers the UK has to offer.

After tremendous success in the States, Insomniac have decided to bring the Discovery Project across the Atlantic to London as Insomniac, Cream and DT are reaching out to all amateur DJ/producers who fancy themselves risk-takers. The Discovery Project: EDC London opens itself up exclusively to UK residents, welcoming UK talent to join the competition series.

Submit your latest original track and a 30-minute mixset to be in the running for a time slot at EDC London for the Discovery Project’s international debut, an official podcast on Data Transmission and a slot on our revered new talent section.

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
