As King’s Cross continues its transformation into one of the capital’s most desirable districts, Egg London celebrates it’s 14th Birthday this weekend and another year at the centre of this epic renewal. Going through an on-going evolution of its own, which has seen the garden transformed into a centre-piece Main Room complete with overhanging balcony.
2017’s birthday celebration comes in three parts across the weekend of the 5th and 6th of May kicking off Friday May 5th opens the Egg London’s Birthday Weekend Part 1 with Erick Morillo All Night Long, welcoming back the Subliminal Records boss and Strictly Rhythm legend, Erick Morillo. Taking charge for the entire duration of the club’s opening, the man behind such acts as Ministers De La Funk, The Dronez, alongside Harry ‘Choo Choo’ Romero and Jose Nunez, and Li’l Mo Ying Yang, will no doubt display the kind of party starting spirit behind the decks that has kept him at the top of the game for over twenty years. An unmissable night and one helluva House music party to get the weekend started.
Saturday 6th May hosts 2 Birthday events with the daytime being fuelled by the wildly hedonistic Gold Diggers gathering going straight into the main event, Birthday Part II with techno legends, Green Velvet, Enrico Sangiuliano, Daniel Miller (Mute Records),Tobi Neumann and much more.
From all of us at Data Transmission we’d like to wish Egg London a massive Happy Birthday and heres to another big year for them, with more killer lineups! See you down the front!
