Following their ‘Love Taking Over’ EP, London duo Dusky have announced the second release on their 17 Steps label. The new track ‘Yoohoo’ rattles out with tough, techy bass stabs but comes alive with its nostalgic, euphoria-loaded piano house and debuted as Pete Tong’s Essential New Tune on Friday.

This release also coincides with the news of their ‘Dusky Take a Trip’ show at The Laundry on March 7th of next year. Join the boys as they embark on an all-night journey of acid, electronica, house, techno and rave both past and present – allowing them to draw on the full spectrum of their sound. Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
