Duke Dumont Reveals New Single ‘I Got U’

When we spoke to Duke Dumont last year we found it a most reassuring process. Far removed from the doom mongers that dominate the blogosphere, here is a man who truly loves, respects and understands the scenes innermost workings.

Raised in North West London as the son of a record dealer, Adam Dymant has seen a lot of changes over his already storied career and sees most of them as for the better. Rather than jealously guard his profession and own interests the man who topped the charts under his musical moniker of Duke Dumont has openly spoke of his joy at the new found accessibility, with fans having more freedom to enjoy and craft electronic music than ever before.

It’s easy to see why Duke has so much optimism with work for his own album to be released in 2014 looking to build on a stellar 2013. Now following the sharing of his fresh remix of Tensnake’s ‘Love Sublime’; a track that saw the disco loving German initially hook up with serial collaborators Fiora and Nile Rodgers he has now revealed his new single ‘I Got U’, complete with vocals from Jax Jones set for release on his own Blasé Boys Club imprint this March and it’s safe to say we’ve been unable to get either out of our heads or off of our playlist. A certainty to become an anthem as the temperature begins to rise, we can’t wait to enjoy ‘I Got U’s tropical vibes over the summer.

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
