LONDON
Lovebox and Red Bull Music Academy join forces to present a sensational musical journey charting the lineage of the electronic dance music of today back to the sounds of 1970’s New York City Disco at The Forum on Friday 14th June. They are upping the ante with an event headlined by Chic featuring Nile Rodgers who are widely credited with pioneering the R&B and disco scene in the 70’s and responsible for some immortal classics from the era, including ‘Le Freak’, ‘Dance Dance Dance’, ‘I Want Your Love’ and ‘Good Times’ with Rodgers also producing albums for artists such as Madonna, David Bowie, Sister Sledge and Diana Ross. Still selling out arenas worldwide, front man Nile Rodgers returns to London hot on the heels of his Classic Album Sundays x Red Bull Music Academy appearance in New York. The party doesn’t stop there however, with Rodgers curating a roll call of top drawer DJ talent to make sure the celebrations continue until the early hours. There will be sets from DJ Pierre, Derrick Carter, Seth Troxler (Disco Set), Horsemeat Disco, and RBMA Alumni Rebel Rebel. DJ Pierre, one of the originators of the Acid House movement, will usher forth the sounds of underground Chicago during the mid 1980’s Acid House explosion, while Derrick Carter will no doubt deliver a rare disco set before Prince of the new school and fourth wave Detroit star Seth Troxler (Disco Set) completes the journey from vintage vogue to contemporary cool. Also perk your ears up for support act Nicky Siano, past resident at the legendary Studio 54 and renowned pioneer of the New York disco scene. There’s no better way to warm up for Lovebox Festival, set to be one of the hottest events of the summer. MAKE SURE YOU GET YOUR TICKETS NOW!

Taking place at the beloved Great Suffolk Street Warehouse, FOUND will invade one of London’s most sought after nightspots to see the party through until the early hours. The warehouse event follows a precedent set by the carefully programmed late-night series that FOUND started with two years ago. The festival wouldn’t be complete without a late night offering and this one promises to be something special, as a select line-up is flanked by the grandeur and high production values of this London Bridge warehouse venue. The line-up takes a deeper turn to embrace a set of British and global talents fully focused on electronic music of the highest order. Evolving from the sunshine fuelled daytime programme at Haggerston Park, the After Party promises a harder, hedonistic run of house and techno with extended sets played by some of the finest purveyors on the underground circuit today. On the verge of releasing her anticipated solo album in July, daytime headliner Maya Jane Coles returns to rule the night. Armed with a wealth of new material Maya is ready to prove her versatility as one of the finest DJs in the world. The highly respected Swiss selector Deetron is also in check for a rare London appearance. Combining an old-school mentality with a fresh approach he has continued the legacy of Chicago house and Detroit techno with a prolific string or releases spanning over a decade, and 2013 set to be his biggest year to date. The rising sounds of Maayan Nidam has been sending waves through the industry following the 2012 release of her second LP ‘New Moon’ on Luciano’s coveted imprint Cadenza. Shaping sound to fit her own singular sensibilities, her deep, immersive sets fuse minimal structures with organic and traditional influences to create a truly unique sound, unerringly taking dancefloors to special, unexpected places. Joyce Muniz’ transatlantic upbringing is evident throughout her body of work. Pairing European club sounds from her hometown Vienna with tropical percussive influences from her Brazilian roots. Initiating proceedings will be international party starters, WildKats and home-grown East London talent Palace. One of London’s most discerning club brands will provide a second arch of sound, delivered by an equally exciting set of underground talents. Announced shortly. FOUND is ready to embrace the night in the vast arches of the Great Suffolk Street Warehouse. This is one after party not to be missed!
