You would be hard pushed to find another artist like Chris Finke. Whether it’s smashing dancefloors worldwide with his unique mix of techno, bass and anything else he feels like, holding down a 9 year residency at the UK’s biggest and best techno institution “Atomic Jam”, his diverse bass-shaking production and remix work, or his cutting edge broadcasting career.

Seedy Sonics Summer Party / Dimensions Festival Launch Party (Birmingham – Friday)

For the student seedlings this is the light at the end of a very dark, long tunnel and a welcome party for the summer. For Birmingham this is a massive underground music event which will once again highlight how brilliant the city is for music lovers and party goers. This Saturday at Rainbow Venues using the full Rainbow complex (minus The Arena & Street) being in use, 6 rooms full lighting, visual, pyrotechnics, 2000+ beautiful people all gathering to welcome the summer, 30+ DJs providing the soundtrack including Floating Points, Boddika!, Loefah, Dub Phizix & Stratergy, Kry Wolf, Klose One, Chunky MC, Mistanoize, Maison Sky, Onset b2b R King, Aartekt and David Martin.

Tahanan at Buszy (Milton Keynes – Saturday)

Tahanan are back for their third instalment of no nonsense high quality, underground house music, and will be at Buszy in Milton Keynes. They have been very busy putting together arguably their biggest line-up of theirs to date with two headliners in both rooms. Their line-up on the night will be Terry Francis, Eddie Richards, Dudley Strangeways, Michael McLardy, Steve Worrell, Ashley Roberts, Lee Clarke, Ashley Kellet and Reuben.

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
