It seems a long time ago now that Doc Daneeka first grabbed our attention alongside Benjamin Damage on 50 Weapons with their awesome collaborative album and we’ve been pleased to see the producers career go from strength to strength over the last few years. Then our favorite Berlin based Welshman Doc Daneeka unveiled a new 12” via Jackmaster’s Numbers imprint ‘Walk On In’ and needless to say we were impressed. Drenched in soul, the track harbors the talents of Leeds based artist Ratcatcher who has worked with Daneeka to produce the retrofitted house effort complete with vintage synth tones, crackles and pops.
Now Doc has returned, not just to the studio but Glaswegian label Numbers for new two track release entitled Treptow” b/w “Paname (Piano Vers)” which drops on June 9 in both vinyl and digital formats.
