Here at DT we’re all for the extended set. Whether it be one DJ taking us on a journey through the many sounds that constitute their own sonic palette throughout the night or cheekily overextending their set beyond the official licensing hours we’ve long been fans of the marathon set. Therefore we’re fans of DJ EZ, a name synonymous with among many other things, colossally sustained performances.
Having blown us away with on more times than we care to remember, you can imagine how excited we were in receiving news that the garage luminary would be putting his dexterity on the decks to good use for a good cause as he undertakes a whopping 24 hour set to raise money for Cancer Research.
“I have reached a point in my career where I would like to give something back to those less fortunate than myself,” explains EZ “I would love you all to support me in making a difference to the lives of all those battling cancer by donating now.”
Kicking off as a live stream on djez.com from 6 PM February 27th, the broadcast aims to run right through until 6 PM the following day. Head to DJ EZ’s JustGiving page to donate or text DJEZ77 £ with your amount to 70070.
