Wow. What a year 2013 was for electronic music duo Disclosure. After riding high at number one in the album charts with their critically acclaimed album ‘Settle’ and earning rave reviews from their fans for a series of live performances at festivals last summer and beyond, it seems that south London pairing can do no wrong at the moment and having started 2014 with similarly stellar form notching up no less than 4 nominations at this years Brit Awards you’d be forgiven for thinking that Disclosure might be wishing to take a well earned break some time soon.

Well that doesn’t seem to be the case any time soon with them back in the studio, this time collaborating with American rapper Q-Tip according to a photograph posted on instagram of the three together above the caption “Studio tonight with these guys @disclosuremusic”.

Naturally details on the new team up are currently scarce but the duo have previously stated in interviews that they would like to incorporate hip hop into their next album so working with Q-Tip does seem a natural fit.

The news follows Disclosure sharing the video to their latest single ‘Grab Her’ and appearing on stage alongside Mary J Blige at New York’s Terminal 5 to perform ‘F for You’.

Check out the video to ‘Grab Her’ below:

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
