From his hilarious vines to his madcap merchandise store mischievous Mad Decent  producer Dillon Francis has long been one of our favourite people in the industry. In typically excitable fashion Dillon took to social media last year to announce his hotly anticipated debut album posting “MY ALBUM SHOULD BE DONE SOOON!!! IM LIKE 85% DONE!! IM SO FREAKING EXCITED”.

Originally slotted in for a “tentative” release this March we’re still waiting to hear the album but Francis has now shared details of his upcoming LP in an interview Miami-based Power 96 where he revealed the albums title as Money Sucks, Friends Rule. A good mantra we’re sure you’ll agree. With a new release date of July now penciled in and the likes of teenage chart topper Martin Garrix and speed rapper Twista slated to appear in all star collaborations we’re starting to get excited about Money Sucks, Friends Rule as potentially the most fun album to land this summer.

Can wait for the album? Check out the bizarre video to Dillon’s recent team up with Flux Pavilion to tide you over until Money Sucks, Friends Rule arrives below:

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
