Detroit Swindle Reveal Album Details

 Here at DT we’ve been tipping Amsterdam up and comers Detroit Swindle for a while now and we were glad to see the dynamic Dutch duo make the serious inroads in 2013 that their talent deserves.

As a pairing Detroit Swindle  had an impressive last 12 months as they traversed the globe with a series of energetic live and DJing performance whilst dropping releases on some of the scenes most credible labels such as Freerange, Saints & Sonnets and Tsuba , launching their own imprint Heist Recordings and now revealing details of their hotly anticipated upcoming album. Entitled ‘Boxed Out’ and set for release this March on Dirt Recordings the LP will present 13 typically robust tracks complete with vocal contributions from Mayer Hawthorne and Guyanese-Canadian soul singer Sandra Amarie. Showcasing the pairings love of classic hip,-hop, disco and house we’re sure this will be an album getting plenty of play in the DT office over the coming months.
