Debut Transmission: Luke’s Anger – Polite Violence

Next month, Luke’s Anger is set to make his Sneaker Social Club debut with the break-driven Filas And Undercuts EP.

Real name, Luke Sanger (can you see what he did there?), the producer is a master of multitasking, jumping between genres and inventing witty new aliases – Duke Slammer, Dry and Slobbie, The Sad Confessor – like there’s no tomorrow.

For his latest work, Luke is taking things back to the early ’90s, with 4 cuts of hardcore/jungle. Closer ‘Polite Violence’ gets the junglist atmosphere going with an intro that seems to come from the depths of the Amazon; from then on it’s drum heaven, with all the funky percussion and intricate arrangements we could ask for.
