If you were keeping an eye on Data Transmission during 2014, you may have noticed we’ve quite a penchant for Cera Alba. Born in Newcastle, but educated in house by way of Leeds and Ibiza, he’s made Single of the Week, received 8/10s for his Synthetic Artistry and The Void EPs, and we got our hands on an exclusive premiere of his track ‘Dura’.

But that was last year. What about 2015? Cera Alba couldn’t possibly keep up such a storming assault on the world of dance, right? Wrong. Recruited by ALiVE Recordings, Alba continues to impress with his Silver Rails EP – a funky, 5-track affair, with remixes from Kalyde and Latmun.

Listen to opener, ‘Calling’, exclusively below and head over to the ALiVE website from May 4th to grab yourself a copy.

Silver Rails Tracklist:

01. Calling
02. Vision
03. Panorama
04. Calling (Kalyde Remix)
05. Vision (Latmun Remix)

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
