D&B legend LTJ Bukem remixes Dusky’s ‘Yoohoo’

dusky.jpg Dusky unveil a rare remix of their track Yoohoo from ground-breaking drum & bass legend LTJ Bukem. Responsible for pioneering a deeper, musical strain of D&B in the early 90s and a major influence in Dusky’s formative raving years, LTJ Bukem here gives ‘Yoohoo’ his trademark makeover of smooth, liquid beats and restrained rave musicality, which pays a massive homage to the halcyon era captured by the ’90s rave flyer-inspired music video for ‘Yoohoo’.  They head to Manchester’s legendary Warehouse Project this Saturday, helming a stellar line-up that features Joy OrbisonBen UFOKiNKMoxie and many more.

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
