Data Transmission Turns 8 With Rhythm Masters!
Most eight year olds mark their birthday by drinking too much fizzy drink, eating too much cake and having a party. Well Data Transmission is slightly different to most other eight year olds although we will be having a party to celebrate reaching the milestone and guess what? You’re invited.
Yes, January 30th we’ll be teaming up with our good friends over at The Big Chill House to celebrate eight years at the vanguard of electronic music with some very special guests.
The night sees Data Transmission favourites Steve Mac and Robert Chetcuti who resumed their partnership as Rhythm Masters for the first time in a decade at the tail end of last year land in London for a performance sure to test even the hardiest of dry January resolves.
Also sitting on the bill is Defected upstart As I Am, fast rising Frenchman Urbymn and bootleg king Archie B & our new superstar resident Ben Sterling who’ll all no doubt bring the heat with hotly anticipated sets of their own. Upstairs we have a collection up and coming DJs including Barber T & Puds, Ron Mexico & Grindall to offer a more techier side of house.
Oh, and we’ve got some commemorative merch on the go too. Yes, that’s right, our old muckers at Bench have issued a special limited run of Data Transmission birthday t-shirts for all of you to casually wear to parties/weddings/sky diving/funerals (delete as applicable).
Happy birthday to us…
