Is there a day that passes by wherein seminal French robotic duo Daft Punk don’t announce some sort of news these days? From remixes to action figures it appears that the pairing aren’t wasting a second of their comeback as they enjoy a spotlight brighter than ever before. The latest addition to their bulging news folder for the year are reports that that Daft Punk have hooked up with New York hip hop kingpin Jay Z for a new collaborative track entitled ‘Computerize’.

Further details of the team up remain scarce but the track is rumoured to have been produced around the time the Punks were crafting the soundtrack to Disney’s Tron: Legacy with the effort not quite making the final album cut.

Whilst we can’t confirm whether any of that for definite what we can do is share the unreleased supposedly leaked work below:

Grahame Farmer

Grahame Farmer’s love affair with electronic music goes back to the mid-90s when he first began to venture into the UK’s beloved rave culture, finding himself interlaced with some of the country’s most seminal club spaces. A trip to dance music’s anointed holy ground of Ibiza in 1997 then cemented his sense of purpose and laid the foundations for what was to come over the next few decades of his marriage to the music industry.
